Why doesn't this product have a score?
Novaz would rather show no score than a misleading one. When the data isn't good enough for a fair rating, you'll see the product with an explanation instead of a number.
Common reasons
- Food with missing nutrition facts — the score needs values like sugars, saturated fat and salt, and products new to the database often lack them.
- Cosmetics with too few rated ingredients — a cosmetic is scored only when at least half of its ingredients have a risk rating.
- Alcoholic drinks — Nutri-Score doesn't cover them, so they aren't scored.
What you can do
- Open the product page and check what's missing.
- If nutrition facts are missing and you have the package, add them from the label when the app offers to.
- Meanwhile, compare with a similar product that does have a score.
FAQ
- Will the score appear later?
- Yes — as soon as the missing data is available, the product is scored like any other.
