What does a product's 0–100 score mean?
The score is one number that sums up how a product does on what Novaz measures: nutrition, additives and organic status for food, and ingredient risks for cosmetics. The color lets you read it at a glance.
The four bands
- Excellent (75–100) — a strong choice on every measure.
- Good (50–74) — a reasonable choice, usually with one weaker point.
- Poor (25–49) — something pulls it down, such as high sugar or salt, or a risky additive or ingredient.
- Bad (0–24) — several weak points, or a high-risk cosmetic ingredient.
Read the reasons, not just the number
Under the score, the product page lists what counted against the product and what counted for it, with a colored marker for each nutrient. Two products with the same score can get there differently — one salty, one sugary — so the detail is worth a glance when it matters to you.
What the score isn't
It's a comparison tool for everyday shopping, not medical advice. It doesn't know your portions, the rest of your diet or your health needs. If you have an allergy or a condition, the package label is always the final word.

- Either its data was updated in the open product database — manufacturers change recipes — or the scoring method was refined.
