How to search for a product by name or brand

Sometimes you want to check a product before you're in front of it — while planning a grocery list or comparing brands. Search lets you look it up without the barcode.

Search for a product

1. Open the Search tab.
2. Type a product name, a brand, or both — for example 'greek yogurt' plus a brand name.
3. Tap a result to see its score and the reasons behind it.

Tips

• Include the brand and the product type to narrow results.
• If a product doesn't come up, scanning its barcode is the most reliable lookup.
• Results come from the open product databases, so names can vary from country to country.
